This resident decided to give his award winning staircase a face lift by adding “RGB Flexi Ribbon LED” to brighten up his entrance area. Working with existing designs is not easy, usually no allowances have been made for concealing wiring, drivers and in this case a RGB controller which tests our knowledge and expertise.
The LED was inserted into a stainless steal custom designed U-profile that clipped onto the back of the stair treads to allow for a side emitting application. This allowed the light to flow through the glass and reflect off the surface of the stair well.
